This podcast was developed by Delphine Hansen, a third-year medical student at McGill University, in collaboration with Dr Giuseppina Di Meglio, adolescent medicine physician and pediatrician at the Montreal Children Hospital and professor at McGill University Faculty of Medicine.


Contraception Care for Youth

This PedsCases Note provides a one-page infographic on providing contraception care in youth. It provides a visual overview of recommended options for contraception, along with tips for counselling patients. It was created by Katharine Jensen, a medical student at the University of Alberta, with the help of Dr. Giuseppina Di Meglio, an associate professor of pediatrics at the Montreal Children's Hospital.

Developed in partnership with the Canadian Paediatric Society (CPS), this podcast gives a summary of the 2018 CPS Guideline regarding contraceptive care for Canadian youth, including contraceptive methods and prescription guidelines. This podcast was developed by Vandana Rawal, a second-year pediatrics resident at the Hospital for Sick Children at the University of Toronto and Dr. Guiseppina Di Meglio, Associate Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Adolescent Medicine at McGill University and lead author of the CPS statement being reviewed.
