In addition, the physical findings associated with sexual assault are described. In general, very few physicians are comfortable managing child sexual assaults. This podcast was written by Dr. Melanie Lewis. Dr. Lewis is a general pediatrician at the Stollery Children’s Hospital in Edmonton. 


Adolescent Medicine

This podcast provides an approach to adolescent history taking. Tips for broaching sensitive topics with an adolescent patient are then provided. This podcast was written by Lauren Kitney and reviewed by Dr. Melanie Lewis and Dr. Cathleen Steinegger. Lauren is a medical student at the University of Alberta. Dr. Lewis is a general pediatrician at the Stollery Children's Hospital. Dr. Steinegger is an adolescent medicine specialist at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto.
