This podcast will give you an approach to red eye. In this episode, listeners will be able to develop a systematic approach to pediatric red eye, guided by key details in the history and physical exam findings, differentiate common causes of pediatric red eye based on symptom pattern and anatomy, list red flag features requiring urgent ophthalmology referral, discuss initial management principles for common pediatric red eye conditions, and identify important pediatric infectious causes of red eye, including HSV keratitis and neonatal conjunctivitis.
